Impact Triad (Youth Center)

Making An IMPACT

Impact Triad is a youth center for Kernersville where families can find:

• Safe, affordable, fun activities
• Quality tutoring in academics
• Mentoring opportunities with community and business leaders
• Volunteer community service opportunities

It is our desire to help teens understand the importance of "guarding their heart, for it is the wellspring of life." (Proverbs 4:23)

Impact Triad was formed out of a Leadership Kernersville class where Myra Thomason (pastor of New Beginnings), Lisa May (WSFCS social worker), Ken Gamble (Chief of Police for the Town of Kernersville), and Courtney Turlington (business leader) came together to see what could be done to support families and help youth.  Through this common passion Impact Triad began.  A board was formed to develop this separate 501c3 ministry.  God provided a new church home for New Beginnings and in that He also provided a home for Impact Triad.  We are thankful that other business leaders, educators and churches have now joined the team.

MISSION Statement:  to deliver programs that improve the quality of life for children, their families and the community.

Last year we held parenting classes for parents of high school students and this year we opened, along with Communities in School, a free afterschool program.  To volunteer to help with the afterschool program please email youth pastor, Eric Lewis, elewis@godauthentic.com
